Can You Trust Payoneer?
It all began in November of last year. I needed some extra cash so I resumed editing marketing content for a client of mine on Peopleperhour. I moved my first $48 to Payoneer. I’d used them about two years earlier to move money from Fiverr and never had any problems. Then I forgot about it. I admit that was my first mistake. February arrived and I sent over another $58, but this time I tried to withdraw it to my bank account. The balance on my account was blocked, and it still is today. I reviewed their help center, finding nothing helpful. I reviewed my profile settings. I’d forgotten to complete an address form hidden in the settings. I completed the documents. Another two weeks go by, and still no response or changes. I contacted their customer service, finally. Thomas says that an undisclosed computer error prevented the transfer of my funds. He says that the company will refund the money back to my Peopleperhour account. A canceled sign appears on both transactions. Another two weeks elapse. Still no refund to my account. I contacted customer service again. Thomas says that Peopleperhour still needs to process the refund. Next I reached out to their customer service. Wait another week or two. Then Sofia responds that Peopleperhour can’t process the transaction. I speak to Thomas, again. He says that I need to change my payment settings on Peopleperhour. I’ve changed the settings and my funds remain blocked.
Still waiting on a response from Thomas.
